In October 1973, Monique and Maurice Touzeau, founders of Touzeau-Cadeaux in Annemasse, organised an exceptional exhibition at the town hall: \u00ab2000 years of French silverware\u00bb, presented by the Bouilhet-Christofle museum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This unique event retraced the history of goldsmithing, from Gallo-Roman times to the XIX\u1d49 century, through remarkable pieces from France's heritage. It also offered visitors an exhibition of dressed tables - \u201cLes Tables d'aujourd'hui\u201d - devised by students at the Bonneville hotel school, illustrating the art of entertaining in all its forms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
